Logic

Logic ( from the Greek λογική logikē) is the formal systematic study of the principles of valid inference and correct reasoning. Logic examines general forms which arguments may take, which forms are valid, and which are fallacies. Logic is studied in argumentation theory and rhetoric. Logic was established as a discipline in philosophy by Aristotle.

So… CommonLAWgic, nowadays, addresses Common Logic from the perspective of law, as systematic study of fairly balanced, inclusive and sustainable solutions from and for the shipping sector, as a result of interaction with society.

INDICATIVE MEANS OF ACTION:

By initiating and coordinating, centrally from Greece, joint transnational efforts, from voluntary self-commitment to collective argumentative intervention at the stage of consultation for regulations at national, European or international level. 

By informing, motivating and educating the maritime industry and stakeholders regarding their social, ethical and environmental responsibility obligations and how to fulfill fair and measurable results in these areas.

 By screening, showcasing and communicating to the wide public, all major “best practices” (through conferences, workshops, media, articles, books etc), acting as an interactive link between business and society.

By representing, affiliating and cooperating in Greece and abroad, with governmental, intergovernmental Organizations, regional NGOs and Associations that promote similar sustainability goals.
